Do you want to help develop the work against violence in close relationships in Salem?

We have received funding from the County Administrative Board to strengthen and develop our work. The assignment includes, among other things, developing knowledge-based screening tools and investigating how we best organize support for both victims and perpetrators of violence in the municipality.

An important part is also to explore opportunities for regional collaboration with a focus on distribution of responsibilities, working methods, and structures. Today, we offer support in-house and through contractual collaboration with the relationship violence center and women's shelters, and we are now facing the next step in development.

About the position

The position is a permanent full-time role placed within the Social Administration's Individual and Family Care. The assignment covers the entire social administration, including elderly care. The assignment primarily focuses on the area of violence in close relationships but may also include development work in related areas such as crime, depending on needs. As a smaller municipality, the scope of the assignment may vary over time, requiring flexibility and the ability to adapt work based on current conditions.

As a coordinator/project manager, you will support the operations in their work with violence in close relationships, honor-based violence and oppression, as well as prostitution and human trafficking. You will work on developing working methods, training initiatives, collaboration, and follow-up.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and develop working methods and initiatives
• Plan and conduct training sessions
• Develop collaboration with other external actors
• Follow up on results and drive improvement work
• Prepare decision-making materials
• Report work progress to the County Administrative Board

Qualifications

• Relevant academic education (e.g., Social Worker)
• Experience working with violence in close relationships
• Experience in coordination and process leadership
• Good knowledge of relevant legislation, research, and evidence-based methods in the field
• Experience in overall development work and training within project management or similar is an asset.
